Open Question: My boyfriends birthday is coming up fast, i need help for gift ideas?

We've been together for a while and i asked him what he wanted and he said my love(cute yes i know) but i want to do sooo much more than that! I have to! :) Im gay so it cant be anything flashy or huge!!! It has to be discrete due to stupid complications.(Nothing to do with either of us). Haha so please help with anything.
